Hoosier Tire Launches Next Gen of CIK Superkart Tires

Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. is proud to release a complete line of Superkart tires for dry and wet weather conditions. The Commission Internationale De Karting-FIA (CIK) has approved Hoosier’s new Superkart R60B slicks and Wets for competition in Europe beginning January 1, 2017.   

The slick tires have undergone significant changes for the 2017-2019 homologation cycle. A slightly harder, more durable compound has been engineered to maintain consistent grip in harsher conditions and on more demanding Division 1 karts. The R60B is fitted with a new tire construction that increases lateral grip and acceleration off corner exit. The front and rear tire diameter has also increased to improve handling and braking characteristics. 

Hoosier’s new Superkart Wet tires offer drivers a “dry track” experience in rain conditions. The tread pattern is designed to evacuate water in heavy rain conditions. The rain compound has been formulated to provide excellent wet traction without compromising durability, in an effort to minimize degradation in drying track conditions.
