Hoosier Tire racers dominated The Shakedown at The Summit on September 16th and 17th at Summit Motorsports Park by winning all of the non-tire rule classes such as Pro Modified, Top Sportsman, Pro Street and Open Comp.
Pro Modified was highlighted with Melanei Salemi being the #1 Qualifier with a fastest 5.71 elapsed time.
John Stanley recently converted his 2015 Caddy to Hoosiers and took home the Money Shot $5K with an explosive run of 5.686 elapsed time!
The Class was ultimately won by an impressive weekend of passes by John Decerbo finishing the weekend off with a run of 5.797 at 245.40 to take home the Ultimate prize!
Top Sportsman was a battle of 48 cars trying to qualify for a 32 car field, and at the end of the weekend two were left standing for a final pass in which Ken Mottshaw (far lane) in his beautiful 63 Vette defeated the highly reputable Scott Wasko.
The Pro Street Class was dominated by #3 Qualifer Brian Goldstone as he proceeded to march his way thru the field in his highly decorated Javelin and taking home the class win!
The largest of all classes was the Open Comp which over 100 racers competed to make it to the end, but only AJ Buchanan prevailed as he finally defeated Eric Mills in the final to take home the title!
