Drivers on Hoosier Racing Tire dominated the sportsman field at the 2017 NHRA Midwest Nationals.
In Super Comp Tommy Phillips marched thru the field in his Dragster to claim a Wally!
In the fastest classes of them all, Top Dragster, Danny Nelson rocketed thru all other competitors with some of the quickest and consistent times defeating Mike Coughlin with a 6.036 @ 232.31 MPH to Coughlin’s 6.031 @ 221.92
In the fastest Door car class of Top Sportsman it was Rich Smith in his Chevy Camaro who grabbed the Wally with a winning time of 6.725 @ 188.31 MPH.
SuperGas was won by Dwight Nuest in his Dodge Rampage with a 9.921 to Randy Shipp’s 9.924
