 TOPEKA,
KS (October 6-12, 2008) -- Once again, Team Hoosier dominated the weeklong SCCA
National Championship Runoffs held at Heartland Park Topeka. Ten tire
manufacturers were on hand for the 45th annual event with Hoosier-shod drivers
capturing 11 wins among 30 competing classes. No other tire brand had
more class wins than Hoosier.
In addition to the 11 wins, Hoosier drivers also captured 11 poles and 34
total podium spots. The Hoosier brand was used by 242 drivers or more than 48%
of the the entire field!
Bruce Foss, Hoosier's road race product manager, commented, "This
performance clearly demonstrates a successful effort in our product development
and customer satisfaction."
Foss added, "This is a trend Hoosier will
continue to establish as we fortify the commitment to maintain our #1 position
in SCCA club racing."
