Hoosier Dominates in Hoosier Land

Indianapolis, Indiana - In the most prestigious NHRA event of the year, the U.S. Nationals, Hoosier Racing Tire absolutely dominated the field winning six of the nine classes where Hoosier shod cars competed.

Headlining the event was David Rampy (top) as he took home his 98th career win in Comp/Elm posting a time of 7.386, 154.25 def. Greg Kamplain (bottom) who was also on the purple brand.


Also, Joe Hessling took home a big win in Super Comp with a time of 8.903, 189.90 on Hoosier's newly released 15.0/34.0-16 BR3 (CAT# 18771BR3) who put them on his dragster for this race.


Pro Modified -- Steve Jackson, Chevy Camaro, 6.167, 168.51 def. Jose Gonzalez, Camaro, 6.682, 189.26.


Top Alcohol Funny Car -- Sean Bellemeur, Chevy Camaro, 5.821, 257.09 def. Chris Marshall, Camaro, 6.638, 154.02. The entire field of alcohol funny cars were on Hoosiers.


Stock Eliminator -- Jerry Emmons posted a great runner-up finish in his Chevy Camaro, but unfortunately lit the red light in the final. 


Super Stock -- Dennis Steward (top), Plymouth Savoy, 10.411, 100.76 def. Dale Hulquist (bottom) who lit the red light in the final.


Super Gas -- Devin Isenhower (top), Chevy Camaro, 9.907, 157.50 def. Steve Hoyt  (bottom), Chevy Corvette, 10.271, 132.26.
